Journey of Self Discovery, LLC is committed to expanding access to quality mental health care in underserved areas. We have applied to participate in the National Health Service Corps program and, upon approval, will provide essential services to residents within designated Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) in DeKalb County, Georgia. Our goal is to ensure that all individuals—regardless of income or location—can access compassionate, professional mental health support.

 

Proposed Services Include:

• Individual therapy and counseling

• Mental health assessments

• Care coordination

• Crisis intervention

• Treatment planning and case management

 

Who We Plan to Serve: Upon federal approval, this program will specifically serve residents living within the DeKalb County Mental Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).

 

Planned Payment Options:

• Most insurance plans will be accepted

• Sliding Fee Discount Program will be available based on family size and income

• No one will be denied services due to inability to pay

 

Commitment to Sliding Fee Discount Program: Upon approval, we will offer discounts ranging from 10% to 100% based on Federal Poverty Guidelines. Patients with household incomes at or below 100% of Federal Poverty Guidelines will receive free care. Those between 101-200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines will receive substantial discounts.
